Official Rules, Terms and Conditions



This Event Nerdz Theme Park 2024 Vacation Giveaway (the “Promotion”) is open to individuals who are legal residents of the United States and who are at least twenty-one (21) years old. This Promotion shall be construed and evaluated according to all applicable federal, state and local laws. Void outside the above referenced jurisdictions and where prohibited by law.



No purchase, Payment OF ANY KIND, application, product activation, transaction or UNDERTAKING OF ANY OTHER obligation is necessary to enter or win the Promotion. A purchase, payment, application, product activation or transaction will not increase your chances of winning. No PARTICIPANTS have yet won. THIS ADVERTISING MATERIAL IS BEING USED FOR THE PURPOSE OF SOLICITING SALES OF A VACATION MEMBERSHIP OR OWNERSHIP PLAN.



1. Sponsor/Administrator: The sponsor and administrator of the Promotion is Parliament Marketing, LLC d/b/a Event Nerdz, 3885 South 500 West Suite S, Salt Lake City, Utah 84115 (the “Sponsor”).



2. To Play: The Promotion begins November 1st, 2024, at 12:01:01 AM Central Time (“CT”) and ends November 30th, 2024, at 11:59:59 PM CT (“Promotion Period”). Beginning November 1st, 2024, eligible participants wishing to participate must enter through one of the two following ways:



a. Visiting Sponsor’s website at [giveaway.eventnerdz.com] and completing a form requiring input of your name, email address and any other information required by the Sponsor. The order of these steps may vary. For each giveaway, a participant may only enter once per IP address and device. These steps will enter eligible persons into the Promotion. Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications of the Sweepstakes may be disqualified at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.



b. Mailing a 3”x5” post card with your full name, address, city, state, zip, day and evening phone numbers (area codes included), date of birth, and the words “Event Nerdz Theme Park 2024 Vacation Giveaway”, enclosed in a stamped #10 envelope, together with a self-addressed stamped envelope with proper postage to: EventNerdz, 3855 S 500 W Suite S, Salt Lake City, UT 84115. Mail in entries must be postmarked by November 30th, 2024 and received no later than December 5th, 2024.



3. Limit: Each participant may only enter this Promotion once during the Promotion Period. Any attempt by any single participant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different addresses, identities, registrations, or other methods of entry will void that participant's entries and that participant may be disqualified. There is no limit to the total possible participants in this Promotion.



4. Eligibility: This Promotion is open to legal residents of the United States[1] (the “Promotion Area”) and are at least twenty-one (21) years old at the time of entry and who are not previous customers of Global Travel Network. Employees of the Sponsor and its subsidiaries and affiliates, prize suppliers, and the advertising and promotion agencies of the Sponsor and its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate families (spouse, and parents, children and siblings, and each of their respective spouses, regardless of where they live) and persons living in the household of each of these individuals, whether related or not, are not eligible to enter or win. This Promotion is subject to federal, state, and local laws and is void outside the Promotion Area and where prohibited by law.



5. Prize & Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): One (1) grand prize from all of the giveaways will be issued to the Winner (the “Prize”). The Prize consists of the following items, which have a total ARV of $650.00:



a. Four (4) single day park passes to the winner's choice of Disneyland, Disney World, Seaworld, or Universal Studios.



Winner shall be solely responsible for all taxes and incidental fees (except as expressly stated above) associated with receipt and/or use of Prize. No cash or other Prize substitution shall be permitted except for at the Sponsor's discretion. The Prize is nontransferable. All final decisions regarding itinerary will be made by Sponsor at its sole discretion. All expenses not specified herein as being included in the Prize, including, but not limited to, baggage fees, ground transportation & fuel, meals, beverages, gratuities, incidentals, and taxes, are the sole responsibility of the winner. The winner and any travel companions are solely responsible for satisfying all legally required conditions of travel. Winner and Guest must travel on the same itinerary.



6. Prize Drawing/Odds of Winning: One winner (the “Winner”) will be selected by random drawing from all eligible entries conducted by Sponsor, as the administrator of the Promotion, on December 5th, 2024. The drawing will take place at 3855 S 500 W Suite S, Salt Lake City, UT 84115 and may be conducted via a computer-generated method of selection that is designed to ensure that the drawing is conducted completely at random. Winner need not be present to win. Odds of winning depend on total number of eligible entries and are determined by dividing one (1) by such number. IF THE PRIZE IS UNCLAIMED AFTER 3 BUSINESS DAYS OF NOTIFYING THE WINNER, THE PRIZE MAY NOT BE AWARDED OR AN ALTERNATE WINNER WILL BE CHOSEN VIA THE SAME METHOD AS THE INITIAL DRAWING, WITH THE EXCLUSION ONLY OF THE INITIAL WINNER. No money, fee, shipping, handling, or other consideration is owed, payable or due to Sponsor to claim or receive the Prize. Sponsor reserves the right to modify prize award procedures.





7. Prize Recipient Notification: Winner will be notified by email to the Winner’s provided email address and/or by other reasonable means determined by Sponsor, and may be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release and provide Sponsor with any information necessary to verify eligibility and, unless prohibited by law, a Publicity Release (including use of recipient’s photo, to be provided at Sponsor’s request), all of which must be returned within fourteen (14) days of date of receipt of prize notification or the Prize will be forfeited. If the Winner does not respond to the initial contact from the Sponsor within three (3) business days, the Prize will be forfeited. In the event of noncompliance with these Official Rules, if prize or prize notification is unclaimed or returned as undeliverable, if all required documents are not returned within the specified time period or if Sponsor is unable to contact a potential recipient within a reasonable time period, the Prize will be forfeited. Sponsor is not responsible for invalid, undelivered or undeliverable emails; or for any Internet or other technical problems related to or limiting the ability of an individual to win the Promotion.



8. Prize Restrictions: The Prize is not transferable. No substitution or cash redemption of the Prize permitted except at the sole discretion of Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) with one of comparable or greater value. Winner must redeem the Prize within twelve (12) months of notification. All federal, state, and local taxes and any other costs and expenses associated with Prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided are the sole responsibility of recipients. All Prize details are at Sponsor’ sole discretion.



9. Reservation for Accommodations: Reservations must be made in advance by emailing entries@eventnerdz.com and providing requested reservations details. Reservations require a ninety 60 day advance notice and are subject to availability.



10. Limitation of Liability: By participating, participants agree to: (a) these Official Rules, Terms and Conditions, and the decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects; and (b) release, discharge, and hold harmless the Sponsor and its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies; Meta Platforms, Inc. and its respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and advertising and promotion agencies; and each of the respective officers, directors, shareholders, attorneys, agents, and employees of the aforementioned entities (collectively, the “Releasees”), from any liability, claims, or damages arising, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, out of their participation in the Promotion or the acceptance, use, misuse, or possession of any prize (including any harm or injury resulting from use of the prize). By accepting the Prize, the Winner agrees to, where legal, Sponsor and its designees’ use of his/her name, city and state of residence, and/or likeness for advertising and publicity purposes in any and all media now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity without additional compensation, permission or notification and, upon request, will provide consent to such use in writing. As a condition of participating in the Promotion, participant agrees that: a.) participant will not be permitted to obtain awards for, and participant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, consequential, or any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses; b.) all causes of action arising out of or connected with this Promotion, or any prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and c.) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out of pocket costs incurred, and in no event shall a participant be entitled to receive attorneys’ fees or other legal costs.



11. Additional Terms: By participating, participants understand that a representative of the Sponsor and its affiliates and marketing partners, including Global Travel Network, The Travel Review, Horizon Blue, Travel Steals, Partner Trips, The Traveling Otter (collectively, the “Rewards Entities”) may extend an invitation to attend a presentation of vacation ownership plans and following such presentation take advantage of a vacation and other incentives. It is not a requirement of the Promotion to attend any presentation by the Rewards Entities. Releasees are not responsible for computer, network, printing, typographical, human or other errors, problems or malfunctions relating to or in connection with the Promotion, including, without limitation, errors, problems or malfunctions which may occur in connection with the administration of the Promotion, the announcement of the prize, the processing of entries, product activations or transactions, or in any Promotion-related materials; for stolen, lost, late, misdirected, undelivered, damaged, inaccurate, delayed, incomplete, illegible, or postage-due mail or entries; or are processed, reported, or transmitted late or incorrectly; or are lost for any reason, including computer, telephonic, paper-transfer, or human error, or electronic, computer, or telephonic malfunction, damage, error, omission, interruption, defect, delay in operation or transmission, or any combination thereof. If, for any reason, this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, in the sole discretion of Sponsor, or infection by computer viruses, bugs, or tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, actions of participants, technical failures, or any other causes corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Promotion, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Promotion and, if cancelled or terminated, at its sole discretion, to cancel the unclaimed Prize. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any entry or participant who tampers with or abuses any aspect of this Promotion or who is in violation of these Official Rules, Terms and Conditions, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. By entering, to the maximum extent permitted by law, all participants agree that this Promotion is governed by laws of the United States with venue in Salt Lake County, Utah for the resolution of all claims and disputes (excluding any claims against or disputes involving parties other than Sponsor relating to any prize awarded in the Promotion). Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion may be a violation of criminal and/or civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. The failure of Sponsor to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.



12. Consent to use of Personal Information: Information submitted with an entry is subject to Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, located at https://eventnerdz.com/privacy-policy/. By entering the Promotion, I expressly authorize Sponsor, the Rewards Entities and their respective affiliates, and agents to contact me at the email address, and telephone number(s) provided in connection with my entry (even if the number is a mobile phone number, or is on the Rewards Entities internal, the Federal, and/or any State "Do Not Call" list) regarding their products and services via mail, email, and/or telemarketing (in which event they may deliver, or cause to be delivered to me, prerecorded messages and SMS text messages using an automatic telephone dialing system or an artificial or prerecorded voice), and that Sponsor, the Rewards Entities and their respective affiliates, and agents may invite me to take advantage of a vacation and other incentives in exchange for participating in A PRESENTATION OF VACATION MEMBERSHIP OR OWNERSHIP PLANS. I understand that I am not required to give my consent as a condition of purchasing any property, goods, or services, and that I may opt out of this consent by sending written notice of your desire to opt-out to: entries@eventnerdz.com. If opting out via email, please include your telephone number in the subject line. I may also update my contact preferences by requesting to be placed on the Rewards Entities and its partners’ “Do Not Call” list by calling (720) 776-1007. Please note that it may take up to thirty (30) days for the opt-out request to process and take effect. Your opt-out request will be honored in compliance with applicable law.



13. No Instagram or Meta Platforms Affiliation: This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Facebook, or its owner, Meta Platforms, Inc.

14. Taxes: The Winner will be responsible for all taxes related to associated with the Prize receipt and/or use. The Winner will be issued a 1099-MISC for the combined value of the Prize.



15. Winner List: For the name of the Winner (available after December 5th, 2024), mail a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: 3855 S 500 W Suite S, Salt Lake City, UT 84115. Requests must be received no later than six (6) months after the end of the Promotion Period. The Winner List will be sent when the Winner has been verified.



Consumer Disclosure: No purchase, Payment OF ANY KIND, application, product activation, transaction or UNDERTAKING OF ANY OTHER obligation is necessary to enter or win the Promotion. A purchase, payment, application, product activation or transaction will not increase your chances of winning. No PARTICIPANTS have yet won. Participants have not received any Prize until they have claimed the Prize as described herein and had such Prize confirmed by Sponsor, all in accordance with these Official Rules, Terms and Conditions.
